I've been invited to talk at Cardiff's CUBRIC on best programming practices in open science. I'll cover the typeseting language LaTeX and how it can be used in coordination with technology such as ShareLaTeX and Overleaf for collaborative science writing. I'll update this post closer to the time, but the preliminary schedule is up for now.
Update
The talk was a success! I had a great time; awesome to see so much enthusiasm for open science communication and software tools. I hope I encouraged a few more folks to take the LaTeX plunge and start using it for their research papers.
